Frank has more than 20 years of experience largely providing sell-side and buy-side transaction services to clients from deal origination through to the closing of a transaction, advising in refinancing related projects and performing audits of single entity and group financial statements prepared under German GAAP, IFRS and US-GAAP.

Frank provides assistance to German and foreign publicly listed groups as well as family owned corporations and mid-sized companies from various sectors. His client base also comprises international private equity investment firms as well as mid-cap and small-cap financial investors from German-speaking countries.

Frank supports buyers of business operations from Germany and abroad throughout all stages of an acquisition process. In this context, clients are assisted establishing a first contact with the vendor and performing initial analyses of target operations. Consultancy services also cover subsequent stages of a transaction such as drafting letters of intent and performing financial due diligences including the preparation of key findings presentations and focussed reports. Support at the final stages of a transaction relates to purchase price determination and deal negotiation as well as the closing and post-merger integration phases.

In sell-side projects, Frank is involved in performing the vendor due diligence and preparing financial fact books in connection with the disposal of business units or sub-groups. Vendor assistance also includes the preparation of carve-out financial information.

Further, Frank is regularly engaged in advising corporate clients and potential debt providers in situations requiring the refinancing of existing financial structures. Respective support relates, amongst others, to performing a targeted financial due diligence addressing the specific information requirements of parties involved in such special situations.

As auditor, Frank in particular performed the audit of single and group financial statements prepared under German GAAP, IFRS and US-GAAP of businesses operating in a variety of industries. He also issued respective audit opinions.

Frank acts as liaison partner within I-ADVISE’s international alliance of independent advisory firms, which can assist clients in cross-border transactions and provide valuation services in various countries outside Germany.

Frank is member of the supervisory board for several companies.
