Christian has more than 15 years of experience providing tax related advisory services to clients largely with respect to M&A related topics.
Christian advised international corporate groups and mid-sized companies as well as international and German-based financial investors.
In M&A transactions, Christian executes both buy-side and sell-side tax due diligences, whereat his analyses are aimed to identify tax risks at target level and to consider these via adequate tax clauses in share purchase agreements.
Further, Christian assists in tax structuring regarding the acquisition and sale of companies, amongst others aimed to reduce the tax burden triggered by a transaction, to determine the tax impact from purchase price allocation or to optimise the integration of a newly acquired business tax-wise. Christian obtained the respective experience through numerous domestic and multinational transactions in a broad range of sectors.
Christian acts as mediator, amongst others resolving conflicts resulting from company succession issues.
Christian studied business management at University of Bielefeld and mediation (master studies) at Fernuniversität Hagen.
